Hexagon tiles are one of the most popular tile shapes for installation in kitchens and bathrooms. Hex tiles are available in glazed and unglazed styles, and are suitable for use as both wall tile and floor tile in residential and commercial buildings. The advantage of porcelain over marble mosaic for floor/wall use is that porcelain is harder, more durable and far less porous, making it better suited for wet areas, traffic areas, and kitchen surfaces that might come into contact with foods or liquids that can cause staining.

For historic renovations, our full rectified (straight-edged) Lyric Vintage Series Unglazed Porcelain Hex Tiles are the right choice for homes built between 1890 and the 1930's. For homes built in the 1940's through the 1970's (mid-century) our Retro Series glazed porcelain hexes are your best choice.
